Career Changer Resume Format

I'm changing careers and my resume makes me look unqualified because all my experience is in a different field. Help me restructure it.

Ask me about my current background - my role, industry, and years of experience. Then ask about my target role and industry. Also ask about what I have going for me - transferable skills, relevant projects, certifications, and why I'm making this change. Then help me:

1. Choose the right resume format (chronological, functional, or combination)
2. Create a summary that positions my transition as intentional and logical
3. Rewrite my experience bullet points using language from my target field
4. Decide whether to include all past experience or just relevant parts
5. Feature transferable skills prominently
6. Include projects, volunteer work, or learning that demonstrates new skills
7. Address the elephant in the room - why I'm switching
